Our Story
We’ve come a long way
About twenty years ago, we entered the health insurance brokerage business, believing employer-sponsored benefit plans were the best way to provide healthcare and financial protection. Over the years, our firm gained many loyal clients. However, after seeing our clients facing constant cost increases and benefit reductions, we reassessed our mission.
While employer-sponsored benefit plans remain a viable solution, the system has become inefficient and unnecessarily costly. So, we shifted focus to tackling waste, improving supply chain control, and assisting employers with financial risk management.
Thus, Ally Partners was born, a boutique advisory firm aiming to enhance business outcomes and make quality healthcare more accessible and affordable.

As the founder of Ally Partners, Bob has more than 20 years of experience in this industry. With that experience, he has developed many innovative solutions and a strong network of trusted partners. He is passionate about eliminating waste within the healthcare system, so that quality healthcare can be affordable and accessible to all.
Susan Williams
Client Manager
Sue joined Ally Partners in 2022 after more than 20 years as the Senior Director of HR Policy & Compliance at Aetna.
Chris DeFrain
Business Consultant
Chris is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He currently owns a business advisory firm, Chris DeFrain Consulting, LLC. He has been a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group, Inc (LVRG), D.B.A as Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews, for 13 years. Chris is a former partner at Buckno Lisicky & Company PC (CPAs).
